Dr. Reid Fisher ATC, LAT
Dr. Reid Fisher is the Director of Athletic Training Education at the University of the Incarnate Word.
With twenty years in sports medicine and half of those as an educator, he brings a wealth of experience to Cardinal Cures. Dr. Fisher’s research interests have helped bring embedded sports medicine teams to life within USAF Basic Military Training at JBSA-Lackland, a program that has expanded to include special warfare training. He applied his passion for running to develop gait retraining interventions that have cut attrition by 50% avoiding millions of dollars in annual loss for the US Air Force. Whereas most runners get injured at some point in their running career, Dr. Fisher is working to manage and prevent those problems at the source: running form.
Residing in New Braunfels with his family, dogs, and cat, he looks forward to helping you find some much needed relief.

Hannah Hildebrand
I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with my Bachelor of Science, major in Rehabilitative Sciences, and minor in Psychology. I am a current Doctor of Occupational Therapy Graduate Student. I hope to provide, with the help of my co-founders, a simple and inexpensive cure to Plantar Fascitis and other musculoskeletal conditions. I am passionate about helping individuals overcome a condition that may be holding them back from their daily activities so that they can get back to doing the things they are passionate about.

Sullivan Wilke
A University of the Incarnate Word graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitative Sciences, and a Minor in Psychology. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy at UNTHSC, her acquired skillset and future knowledge put her in a position to treat several musculoskeletal conditions. While competing in various events for the UIW Track and Field Team, she has gained insight into proper biomechanics, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. In hopes of helping others live their lives to the fullest, she advocates for cost-effective and accessible treatments for injuries that impact all aspects of life.
We’re here for the same reasons you are - plantar fasciitis pain.
Training for the 2016 USMC Marathon in DC in hopes of the elusive Boston Qualifier, Dr. Fisher was reduced to tears by mile 20. A sports medicine professional of 15 years at the time, he’d taught students about plantar fasciitis without the comprehension of intolerable nightmare that followed. Massages, night splints, orthotics, injections… nope. Everyone touts their solution but none of their solutions shortened the 13 months the research shows that the average person suffers. So let’s think of things differently. Let’s actually consider the anatomy of the foot and biomechanics of gait. Let’s find a real solution. He applied his prowess in taping from years as an athletic trainer and created a solution. Once applied- the pain is gone. Walking barefoot is possible again. Every day he left it on the morning steps became less and less traumatic. Replacing it about every three days as the tape fatigues and after three weeks… its gone. Now in 2023 it’s never come back. Something’s working here. We just want to share what we’ve found.
